Privacy Policy

Apps On The Move Limited will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us.

If you are a user of an app published by us on the iOS App Store then no personal data is explicitly collected from you.
Our apps do not communicate back any information you enter to any servers owned or run by Apps On The Move. Any data
entered into our apps is kept locally on your device or, if you opt to and where functionality exists, synced with
Dropbox or your WebDAV server. Our apps do make use of third party services to collect basic information about how our
apps are used. As a user of one of our apps you may choose to email us or use the support desk to get in contact - you
are advised only to disclose information which you are happy for us to have. No information you provide to us will be
disclosed to a third party unless necessary for the operation of the support servoce.

If you are a client whom we are providing consultancy or development services to then we will need your name, address,
email and phone number.

Why we need your data

If you are a user of one of our apps then we need to collect basic analytics as to how the apps are used so the apps can
be continually improved. If you request help with one of our apps by email or via the support desk then your email
address will be needed so we can communicate effectively. Unless absolutely necessary we won’t explictly request any
further personal details from you. If you opt to take part in beta testing our apps then your email address will be
added to TestFlight so that the beta builds can be made available to you.

If you are a client then your name, address, email and phone number will be needed so that we can communicate, hold
face-to-face meetings and invoice you for payment for services rendered. From time to time we may email you with updates
concerning your apps or to see if you have any projects which may require help from Apps On The Move Limited.

What we do with your data

All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in the UK. However for the purposes of IT hosting this
information may be located on servers within the European Union or United States. No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.

How long we keep your data

If you are a user of one of our apps and send us an email or raise a support ticket then we will keep those emails until
you notify us that you would like them removed from our systems. If you opt to take part in beta testing an app then
your email address will remain on the system until you ask for it to be removed.

If you are a client of Apps On The Move we are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name,
address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. Your information we use for
our own marketing purposes (if will never be shared with third parties for the purposes of marketing) will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

What services we use

If you send us an email then your email will be handled by G Suite from Google. (https://gsuite.google.com)

If you raise a support ticket then the information you send will be handled by Freshworks. (https://www.freshworks.com/privacy/)

If you use one of our apps then the analytics service used is provided by Fabric.io. (https://fabric.io/terms). From November 2018 apps will start to migrate to Google Firebase as Fabric is being discontinued. (https://firebase.google.com/terms/)

If you take part in testing a beta app then your email address will be stored in TestFlight. (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/testflight/sren/terms.html)

If you are a client then your details will be stored in Crunch for the purposes of invoicing. (https://help.crunch.co.uk/customer/portal/articles/2031545)

Any information sent to us may be in a file securely stored in Dropbox for the purposes of providing you with support or
consultancy.

If you ask to communicate in any other way (for example Skype) then the minimum information required for that will be
stored in that service.

What are your rights

If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated. support@appsonthemove.com
