Wi Fi Sharing Doesn't Work

I am clicking wi-fi sharing from my iphone and pointing my browser to the http address listed, but all Firefox does is hang there.

What could be wrong?

Things to check:

* Did you include the port number - the colon and number, e.g. :10000
* Do you have a personal firewall blocking connections to port 10000
* Is your Wi-Fi router blocking connections?

Try pinging your iPhone, and see whether you can access any other apps which include a web server (such as Goodreader)

I have problems with wifi sharing as well. I tested it on Internet Explorer and after performing one action, the app crashes and so the sharing stops. I found the following error message on my {{debug}} page:

webview failed to load: 101, The URL can’t be shown
Trunk Notes 2.5.4 started

Which version of Internet Explorer are you using? Have you tried any other browsers?

Apps On The Move

Somehow I left to travel out of the country, came back, and the wifi sharing seems to work now. Odd, but I'm not complaining!
Will let you know if I have further issues.

Newbie here. Just downloaded the app and was trying wifi functionality. Could not get it to work with IE9. Each time I pressed the edit button, the ipad app crashed. Based on a prior note in this thread I tried Firefox and it worked fine. Thx.
